Ingo Maurer 1000 Karat Blau 
The Ingo Maurer 1000 Karat Blau is a pendant lamp with 20 panels of gold leaf and acrylic glass. These shades reflect the light and simultaneously create a warm room light. A system lamp from this series with 18 panels is also available on request. A large pendant light can be combined from several system lights. The smaller 24 Karat Blau pendant lamp has been part of the Ingo Maurer collection since the year 2005. In this, as well as in the pendant lights from this collection, short-wave, blue light is emitted between the molecules, thus the filament acts bluish. The structure of the pendant lights is made of red metal. Both pendant lamps from this series were created in the year 2016 by Axel Schmid for the manufacturer Ingo Maurer. The prototype was presented at the trade fair light + building.
